Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking an Assembler I in South Chesterfield, VA to join a production team responsible for manufacturing Glass, Doors, Frames and subcomponents.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of production assembly experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. You will work with leads to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts into subassemblies or units per instructions.
• Inspect parts and assemblies using basic measurement tools.
• Perform end-of-line checks and repairs as needed.
• Communicate with team leads and supervisors about changes to maintain spec compliance.
• Assist assembly groups with problem solving and process improvements.
• Recommend inline checks to improve first-pass yield.
