Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a production team lead at our Rocky Mount, VA site. You will coordinate daily line activities, support operators, and drive safety and efficiency on the manufacturing floor.

You will train staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with quality and maintenance to meet specifications. A strong emphasis on teamwork and problem-solving will help sustain continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Experience with production metrics, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators and production staff to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Train new and existing operators on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency.

• Ensure new employees are properly trained and equipped to succeed.
