Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Harvey the Glass Cutting Machine Operator for the Londonderry, NH site on a 2nd shift (3:30 pm–2:00 am, Mon–Thu). Pay starts at $19.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential.

You will set up, operate, and maintain glass cutting equipment, read orders, measure and cut to spec, and ensure safety and quality in a manufacturing environment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team; experience with

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years Quality/MFG experience in non-electronics/non-food setting.
• Experience using measuring equipment (Tape Measure and Calipers).
• Basic reading of technical drawings and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of quality systems and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate glass cutting machines, CNC cutters, or manual cutting equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurement specifications.
• Measure, mark, and align glass sheets to ensure accurate cuts.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain precision.
• Inspect cut glass for defects, accuracy, and quality compliance.
• Record production data, material usage, and job completion details.
• Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and material handling.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
