Job summary

Qualifications

• CKA/CKS, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design clusters and fleets, identity, networking, policy, observability, artifact promotion, upgrades, disaster recovery, and air-gapped operations
• Implement solutions using GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, and supply-chain security
• Mentor team members
• Contribute reusable standards
• Support RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD authorization activities
• Support federal and DoD customers in connected, edge, and disconnected mission environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering experience
• 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated environments
• Deep experience with GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, supply-chain security, networking, SRE, and federal controls
• CKA/CKS, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or related certifications preferred
• Experience with tactical-edge or mission-critical programs preferred
• Active Secret clearance required
• TS/SCI eligibility preferred
• Ability to travel to customer sites approximately 10–25%
• Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area preferred
