Job summary

PGTEK seeks a GKE/GDC Edge Engineer to support L400 Advanced Development for federal and DoD customers. You will design, implement, and secure edge cloud solutions across connected, edge, and air-gapped environments.

Hybrid or remote with travel to client sites (~10–25%). Washington, DC area preference; Active Secret clearance preferred. 5+ years in software/cloud; strong GKE, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, cloud, cybersecurity, or AI engineering experience.
• 3+ years in production or regulated environments.
• Experience with RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design clusters/fleets, identity, networking, policy, observability, artifact promotion, upgrades, DR, and air-gapped operations
• Implement solutions using GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, and supply-chain security
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities
