Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior cloud engineering professional to design clusters, implement secure cloud solutions, and mentor teammates within regulated environments. The role emphasizes RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD alignment across edge and connected mission contexts.

Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience with GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps, plus a strong focus on security and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering experience.
• 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated environments.
• CKA/CKS, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design clusters and fleets with identity, networking, policy, observability, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
• Implement solutions using GKE, Google Distributed Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, and supply-chain security.
• Mentor team members.
• Contribute reusable standards.
• Support RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD authorization activities.
• Support federal and DoD customers in connected, edge, and disconnected mission environments.
