Job summary

Zensar is seeking a part-time remote GitHub Enterprise Administrator to support onboarding and enablement across the client organization. You will define repository structure, branching strategies, access controls, and governance aligned to development and release practices.

Responsibilities include providing guidance, troubleshooting, monitoring adoption, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering regular status updates while maintaining adherence to the SoW.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GitHub Enterprise administration, repository management, and user enablement.
• Strong understanding of Git, repository workflows, branching models, pull request processes, and code review practices.
• Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts, access control management, and platform governance.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and enable GitHub Enterprise users across the client organization.
• Define repository structure, naming conventions, and standardization.
• Define and support branching strategies aligned to development and release governance practices.
• Configure and manage repository-level access controls, permissions, and governance.
• Provide user guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for adoption-related queries.
• Promote GitHub Enterprise best practices for collaboration and governance.
• Monitor adoption across repositories, projects, and Copilot usage where applicable.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to prioritize activities and deliver updates on progress, risks and actions.
• Ensure all activities align to the SoW scope and engagement model.
• Work independently in a remote setup within a part-time allocation and across PT and IST time zones.
