Job summary

Greenville Independent School District is seeking a dedicated 3rd grade bilingual teacher for Carver Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will plan and deliver TEKS-aligned instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and use data-driven methods to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies.

Responsibilities include creating a positive classroom environment, engaging students, collaborating with staff, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level/content endorsement.
• Must meet all TEA certification and assignment requirements.

Position Overview

Greenville ISD is seeking dedicated and student-focused Teachers to provide high-quality instruction that promotes academic achievement and student growth. Teachers create positive learning environments, implement district curriculum, and support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.

Primary Purpose

Plan and deliver effective instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) while ensuring compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements and district policies.

Qualifications

Education / Certification:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level and/or content endorsement
  
• Must meet all TEA certification and assignment requirements
  

Special Knowledge / Skills:

• Knowledge of TEKS and effective instructional strategies
  
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  
• Strong classroom management skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
  

Experience:

• Prior teaching experience preferred
  
• New graduates with appropriate certification are encouraged to apply
