Job summary

Greenville Independent School District is seeking a dedicated 3rd grade bilingual teacher for Carver Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will plan and deliver TEKS-aligned instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and use data-driven methods to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies.

Responsibilities include creating a positive classroom environment, engaging students, collaborating with staff, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level/content endorsement.
• Must meet all TEA certification and assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and TEKS.
• Deliver engaging instruction that supports student mastery of grade-level standards.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
• Adjust instructional strategies based on data and student needs.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Promote student engagement and accountability.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
