This is a remote position.

This request seeks experienced GIS resources to develop, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise GIS system for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD). Resources will design and build GIS-based solutions for data extraction, translation, collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. This includes creating interactive dashboards and web mapping applications. Resources will deliver well-documented, efficient, and sustainable GIS solutions. Knowledge transfer through training and documentation is essential.

Requirements

Mandatory:

• Expertise and/or relevant experience with ESRI, Safe Software, VertiGIS, and other GIS platforms supporting data, software, and application development and management.

Desirable (but not mandatory):

• Data editing (attributes, geometric features, metadata)
• LRS route and event editing
• Map creation and development
• Supporting GIS Program Managers, Specialists, Configuration Engineers, Data Architects, and Analysts as required

Work Location and Duration

The primary work location will be remote, with availability for onsite meetings when required.
