Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS/geography or related field and 3 years GIS experience.
• Texas Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent.
• CJIS background check required within 6 months of hire and ongoing eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computerized mapping system and oversee hardware/software interaction.
• Instruct and provide technical and operational support to GIS end users.
• Analyze information processing needs and recommend hardware/software upgrades.
• Coordinate with City departments and external organizations sharing GIS resources.
• Work with GIS teams to create, maintain and produce digitized map products.
