Job summary

Esri is seeking GIS Solution Engineers for the Logistics team in the National Government sector. You will guide customers through complex GIS solutions, lead technical meetings, and demonstrate the value of ArcGIS within enterprise ecosystems. Strong consulting background and presentation skills are essential.

Roles require 5+ years with Esri tech, 3+ years in logistics, and ability to travel up to 50%. Visa sponsorship is not available; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology, creating maps, spatial analysis, and configuring web apps.
• 3+ years of experience in the logistics space.
• Broad ArcGIS knowledge in IT context: hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing.
• Experience with geodatabases and DBMS tech.
• Experience integrating software with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, analytics.
• Programming and scripting in Python and JavaScript.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% domestically or internationally.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships; present and support selling Esri software and solutions.
• Be a technical leader of Esri tech and Logistics SME; coach team members.
• Craft and propose GIS-driven solutions addressing customer business needs.
• Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences; provide guidance and best practices.
