Job summary

Chico State Enterprises in Chico, CA is seeking a Project Manager II to lead grant-funded GIS projects within the North State Planning and Development Collective (NSPDC). You will manage milestones, prepare budgets and invoices, coordinate subcontracts, and report progress to senior staff and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of program administration or planning experience, with strong ArcGIS or QGIS skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years of professional work experience in program administration or planning.
• Experience with contracts, invoicing, and reporting for grants.

Responsibilities

• Lead grant-funded GIS projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across GIS analysts, developers, and data scientists.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and deliverables; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Invoicing, subcontract management, and reporting to funders and stakeholders.
