Job summary

Chico State Enterprises is seeking a Project Manager II to lead GIS-driven grant projects within the North State Planning and Development Collective (NSPDC). The role requires coordinating milestones, managing budgets, and guiding cross-functional teams of GIS analysts, developers, and data scientists.

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience in program administration, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree in a related field.
• Three years of professional work experience (or equivalent) in program administration and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead or provide leadership for strategic planning, development, and management of programs and initiatives.
• Develop, define, and execute program plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify needed resources for programs and define major roles.
• Monitor the program from initiation through delivery and interface with external stakeholders as needed.
• Assign and monitor work of program staff, providing mentorship and direction.
• Plan, manage, and oversee GIS projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including GIS analysts, developers, data scientists, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate new GIS tools and methodologies for project implementation.
