City of Grants Pass, Oregon seeks a GIS Supervisor to lead the City’s GIS program within Public Works. You will supervise GIS Technicians, guide project design, and ensure reliable spatial data across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ related experience and supervisory experience. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate vendor bids, and support strategic municipal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
• GIS certification (GISP) preferred and valid Oregon driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GIS Technicians and oversee daily operations.
• Administer the city-wide GIS program, including design and structure.
• Manage budgets, make recommendations, approve expenditures, and prepare reports.
• Coordinate projects and solicit bids from vendors.
