The role manages GIS production operations, including workflow, scheduling, priorities, and product quality, while planning, organizing, and enhancing GIS systems and applications. Starting pay $95,000 annually.

Manager works with user departments to identify needs, coordinates contracts with GIS hardware, software, and data providers, assists GIS staff with projects and develops project schedules that support citywide operations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining expert knowledge of GIS technologies and related fields, translating technical information for leadership, evaluating and improving operating procedures, monitoring workload to ensure efficient service delivery, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, addressing issues and requests, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with long-range planning, objectives, and departmental budgeting.
