The City of Lexington is seeking a GIS Manager to lead the City\u2019s Geographic Information System initiatives for the Utility Services Department. The role involves developing GIS capabilities, providing training, and offering end-user GIS support.
Candidates should hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in GIS or related field (or four years of related work), have four years GIS/GPS experience, one year of supervisory experience, and thorough knowledge of ESRI software.
The GIS Manager perform moderate to complex analytical, technical, professional, and administrative work in developing the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) needs, provide training and end user support for GIS for the Utility Services Department .

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Paid bi-weekly.
This position will remain open until 9/18/2026 at 11:59pm.
