Job summary

H2M architects + engineers is seeking qualified interns for our GIS/Planning Division in Melville, NY. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and maintain GIS data and assist with Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a related field, proficient with Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Eligible for internship: sophomore or higher in a related field.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• General administrative tasks.
• Assist with development and maintenance of GIS data.
• Assist in preparing Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements.
• Organize project files and compile reports containing multiple chapters and appendices.
• Other duties as assigned.
