Job summary

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline firm, seeks qualified GIS/Planning interns to work with experienced professionals in Parsippany, NJ. The Intern will support GIS data development, environmental form preparation, and project file organization while gaining real life project experience.

Ideal candidates are sophomores or higher, proficient in MS Office, eager to learn, and able to work solo or in teams. Experience with Esri GIS products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• General administrative tasks.
• Assist with development and maintenance of GIS data.
• Assist in preparing Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements.
• Organize project files and compile reports with multiple chapters and appendices.
• Other duties as assigned.
