Job summary

Cherry Hill Township is seeking a role that provides support for the Engineering Department as required by the Director, Administrator and Project Manager. Responsibilities include handling calls, organizing project documents, and working with GIS for stormwater and infrastructure data.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a salary range of $45,000–$50,000 commensurate with qualifications. Health benefits are offered after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls to Engineering Department and routing information.
• Organizing and maintaining project documents including site plans and sewer plans.
• Researching and synthesizing findings for engineering projects including local ordinances and laws.
• Maintaining GIS information for stormwater, sanitary sewer and infrastructure needs; input into ArcGIS.
• Reviewing submittals for capital projects and maintaining a products database.
• Responding to OPRA requests directed to the Engineering Department.
• Tracking complaints via SDL and updating actions taken.
• Completing construction and zoning permits for municipal properties.
