Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited in Washington, DC area seeks an Onsite Database Developer with GIS experience to support an OSS web application. The role centers on migrating Oracle databases (11g to 19c), building data models, and integrating GIS data with SQL Server and ESRI tools.

You will work within an Agile/Scrum team, create complex SQL and triggers, and design ER diagrams while coordinating with QA and IT project management. This is a hybrid, in-person engagement in downtown Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years Oracle Database Developer experience.
• 2+ years Database Administration experience.
• 2+ years Experience with Spatial Queries and Geometry Objects.
• 1+ year Data Model Visualization (ERDs).
• 1+ year Interest in GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
• Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
• Develops technical database platforms to support users.
• Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards for design and documentation.
• Provides training for system products and procedures.
• Performs monitoring and reporting on real-time databases and data communications.
• Troubleshoots problems and ensures compliance with district standards.
