Job summary

Vantor in St. Louis is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, and to build robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized geospatial applications across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will implement infrastructure as code, monitor performance, ensure security and governance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a SAFe Agile setting. This role requires TS/SCI with CI poly and a strong DevSecOps background.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum of 14 years of total professional experience in a technical support role.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Proficiency with Red Hat OpenShift and container technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud/on-prem environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized geospatial applications.
  • Implement infrastructure as code and automate platform tooling.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and optimize systems.
  • Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to improve usability and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
  • Communicate with SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts effectively.
