Job summary

Vantor is seeking an ETL Developer to join our Northern Virginia team. You will help build and maintain pipelines and a Python-based ETL framework in a secure environment, interfacing with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and ESRI GIS tools.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph, a background in computer science or geography, and strong Python/SQL skills to support time-critical national security data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, geography or related field, or four years of additional experience may be substituted for degree.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience in Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• REST experience.
• AWS/C2S experience.
• Understanding of GIS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development support in a secure environment using a Python-based ETL framework.
• Maintain and develop PostgreSQL/PostGIS interactions and ETL pipelines.
• Develop pipelines to ingest data from across the community for development, testing, and production environments.
