Job summary

City of Memphis seeks a GIS Analyst/Developer to support the work order/asset management solution using ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online. The role involves developing web-based and desktop GIS applications, data modeling, and mapping services.

You will work with the GIS team to deploy map and web services, perform geoprocessing, and develop SOAP/REST web services as part of city initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–4 years GIS experience.
• Expertise with ESRI ArcGIS/ArcInfo.

Responsibilities

• Provide GIS services via ESRI ArcGIS to support base maps and geoprocessing services.
• Edit and maintain GIS geodatabases for applications and city divisions.
• Collaborate with city divisions to gather workflows and train staff in GIS solutions.
• Perform GIS data capture and conversion for activities.
• Conduct complex GIS analyses using diverse data formats.
