Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a GIS/Data Analyst 2 to support environmental, remediation, compliance, asset management, and engineering projects across California. This role combines geospatial analysis, data management, data visualization, and technical support to help project teams deliver high-quality services to clients across environmental and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of GIS and data management experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with databases.
• Good written and verbal communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases and geodatabases.
• Create high-quality maps, figures, and web-mapping apps.
• Perform spatial analyses for environmental investigations and compliance.
• Manage large environmental datasets and conduct QA/QC reviews.
• Develop dashboards and reports using GIS and BI tools.
