Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Data Analyst to support GIS data analytics for the electric system. You will perform complex data analysis, create GIS dashboards and maps, and combine internal and external data sources for advanced analytics.

The role requires ArcGIS expertise, SQL, Python, and REST familiarity, with a focus on data preparation and reporting. A Bachelor’s in a related field is required; GIS certification is a plus. This is a hybrid role based in the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field (MS preferred).
• GIS Professional (GISP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define problems and objectives; design data collection and reporting tools.
• Prepare data reports, GIS dashboards, and maps.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, REST, and FME.
• Communicate complex GIS concepts to non-technical users.
• Support data maintenance and quality efforts for GIS datasets.
