Job summary

City of Kennewick’s Public Works Division seeks a GIS As-Built Technician to support the City’s Enterprise GIS database. You will collect, process, and maintain survey and as-built data to produce accurate maps, data, and reports for multiple City departments and public needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS) or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of drafting experience including reading surveys, cartography, and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the City’s GIS database and layers.
• Produce maps, data, analyses, and reports for City departments and the public.
• Perform field data collection using GPS equipment.
• Assist with as-built drawings and design documents.
• Maintain data standards and documentation for the Enterprise GIS Database.
