Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking a GIS Analyst to develop and manage geospatial data supporting high-voltage transmission line projects. You will create maps, perform spatial analysis, and ensure data quality across lifecycle stages from preconstruction through as-builts.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of GIS experience in utility projects, with proficiency in ArcGIS Pro/Online and field data collection tools. Collaboration with project teams and compliance with standards is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years GIS experience in utility/transmission/linear infrastructure
Experience with coordinate systems, projections, and datum transformations
Preferred: ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Field Maps for field data collection
GISP or ESRI Certification is a plus
CAD experience for data exchange is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain GIS maps and databases for transmission line projects
Produce high-quality maps, exhibits, and spatial deliverables
Perform spatial analysis including buffer and route comparisons
QA/QC geospatial data from multiple sources (survey, LiDAR, imagery, CAD)
Coordinate with survey/engineering to integrate field data into GIS deliverables
Assist with as-built documentation and final record mapping
