Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a GIS Analyst to support complex GIS applications across web, client/server, and mobile platforms. The role emphasizes ArcGIS/AGOL, SQL, and dashboard development to meet environmental and natural-resource data needs.

You will collaborate with development teams and project managers to ensure quality, meet milestones, and implement new GIS solutions, including testing plans and documentation. A strong ADA compliance background is valued.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in GIS, cartography, CADD, or related field.
• 4 years of experience developing user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands, doing complex spatial analyses and reports.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and Portal.
• Dashboard skills.
• 4 years of experience assisting in development of GIS that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information.
• Experience creating basemaps and tile caches.
• Experience with imagery analysis.
• 4 years of advanced SQL skills, including writing database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages.
• Experience maintaining spatial databases, documenting procedures, validating data, and updating metadata.
• 4 years of advanced skills in unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of ADA Compliance with 1+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree required. Foreign degrees accepted if equivalent.

• Serve as a customer service liaison to the client and external consultants.
• Maintain current knowledge of changing IT technologies through continuous learning.
• Support applications across PC-based, web-based, and mobile platforms.
• Support legacy application development and maintenance where applicable.

Job Description:

GIS Analyst – ArcGIS, SQL & GIS Application Development

Position Overview

Support highly complex GIS applications while working across spatial data, GIS application development, database technologies, testing, and web/mobile applications. This role provides opportunities to work closely with development teams and Project Managers to improve GIS solutions, streamline spatial data needs, and support application quality, milestones, and deadlines.

The role will primarily support applications associated with environmental and natural-resource functions, with additional application development support assigned as needed.

Bachelor's degree required. Foreign degrees will be accepted if evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience with MS ADO, GIT, MS Office, and Helix.

1+ years of experience with Angular.
