Job summary

BGE, Inc in the United States is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology team. You will design and maintain enterprise GIS datasets and build web, mobile, and desktop solutions that support field operations, planning, and asset management.

Work closely with engineers, planners, project managers, and clients to translate business challenges into scalable GIS workflows, perform spatial analyses, and contribute to data governance and cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of GIS or related technology experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS datasets, databases, and geospatial applications.
• Build web, mobile, and desktop GIS solutions that improve field operations, planning, and asset management.

We’re looking for a GIS Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and building technology that makes a measurable impact. Client Solutions & Collaboration

• Partner with engineers, planners, project managers, and clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
• Gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and recommend scalable GIS and data workflows.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trusted relationships by delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.

GIS & Data Solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS datasets, databases, and geospatial applications.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of GIS or related technology experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Python, SQL, Arcade, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
• Experience integrating GIS with enterprise business systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, FME, or ETL workflows.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or municipal clients.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, digital delivery, or asset management systems.
