BGE, Inc. is seeking a GIS Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS datasets and geospatial applications. You will build web, mobile, and desktop GIS solutions to improve field operations and asset management, while performing spatial analyses to guide infrastructure decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and clients, automation using Python and ArcGIS tools, and ongoing professional growth within a data-driven environment in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of GIS or related technology experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of GIS or related technology experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Python, SQL, Arcade, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
• Experience integrating GIS with enterprise business systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, FME, or ETL workflows.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, transportation, or municipal clients.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, digital delivery, or asset management systems.
