Qualifications

• Valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners or ability to obtain it before season starts.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
• Ability to lead, instruct, and supervise students athletes and a coaching staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm.

Responsibilities

• Attend and coach all scheduled games as determined by leagues.
• Assist head coach in developing off-season programs for student athletes.
• Collaborate on instructional strategies, practices, and supervision guidelines.
• Teach and promote athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
• Be present for practices and assess student performance for feedback.
