Qualifications

• Knowledge of district, athletic policies, and O.S.A.A. rules.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with disgruntled adults and students.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate required.
• Valid Oregon driver license.
• ASEP Certified.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in essential tennis skills.
• Follows the system of play as set by the Head Coach.
• Plans and schedules a regular practice program in season.
• Works with Head Coach on scheduling and finances.
• Supervises athletes in dressing rooms and during travel to away games.
• Maintains attendance forms and insurance records.
• Promotes sportsmanship, fair play, and scholarship.
• Ensures safety of facilities and equipment during activities.
• Enforces eligibility and disciplinary standards for students.
