Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an effective coach in the assigned sport.
• Coaches must have CPR and Concussion Protocol training.
• All CHSAA-related certification requirements must be met per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the sport-specific program.
• Oversee feeder programs (JV, C-team, middle school).
• Maintain professional conduct as a role model for athletes.
• Monitor budget and expenditures for the sport.
• Assist in hiring quality assistant/sub-varsity coaches.
• Schedule practices, games, and travel logistics.
• Develop and implement safety and policy guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with schools, parents, and community.
