Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs is seeking qualified coaching staff for the athletic programs. The role includes planning, supervising, and developing athletes, with responsibility for safety, scheduling, and facilities management.

Reporting to the Athletic Director and/or a head coach, you will lead practices, coordinate with trainers and administrators, and uphold district policies while promoting student growth and teamwork.

• ASEP Certification
• CHSAA Certification
• NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Teacher License: Initial
• Teacher License: Professional

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise athletic programs and events.
• Develop athletes’ skills and supervise staff and facilities.
• Maintain safety, resources, and equipment; enforce district policies.
• Communicate with Athletic Director, coaches, parents, and students.
• Coordinate practice plans, schedules, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with trainers and administrators to optimize programs.
