Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• One year leadership in an interscholastic program as a coach or related athletic experience.
• Teaching background preferred with experience working with adolescents.
• Knowledge of athletics value at middle/high school level.
• Substantial knowledge of softball development, practice planning, and coaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organizing the needs of the sport within the Athletic Program.
• Conduct practices, motivate students, and instruct student athletes in game strategies and techniques.
• Demonstrate positions typical to softball and communicate effectively with students.
