Job summary

Punahou School is actively recruiting an Assistant Coach for the Girls Intermediate Tennis Team. The Assistant Coach assists the head coach with organizing the needs of the sport within the Athletic Program, conducts practices, motivates students, and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience coaching a Tennis team in an educational setting, good communication and organizational skills, physical ability to demonstrate

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of leadership experience coaching an interscholastic program.
• Bachelor’s Degree or GED; high school diploma acceptable.
• Experience teaching or working with adolescents preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Tennis coaching experience in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organizing needs of the sport within the Athletic Program.
