Job summary

Mounds View Public Schools seeks a Girls Hockey JV Coach to lead and manage the JV program at the middle/high school level. The role focuses on developing players, planning practices, and fostering a positive team culture in alignment with the district mission.

The successful candidate will hold a Minnesota coaching certificate or equivalent, bring strong coaching experience, and build a program with staff and community involvement while modeling character and responsible behavior.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota coaching certificate or equivalent.
• Strong background and understanding of the sport.
• Successful coaching experience preferred.
• Experience building a program, developing staff, and managing program-wide elements in line with the school mission.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and commitment to positive community relationships.
• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Positive, high energy, and committed.
• Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
• Views success beyond winning; helps team members reach goals.
• Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching.
