This part-time, on-site role collaborates with The Rinks and Great Park Ice, focusing on Learn Her Way, Play Her Way, and Girls Try Hockey For Free events, while coordinating coaching plans and registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years coaching or program experience in girls'/women's hockey.
• Minimum of 1-2 years sports/entertainment marketing experience preferred.
• Experience playing hockey is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• On-site role in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-ice instruction for girls' hockey programming.
• Develop coaching plans and coordinate with program coaches.
• Support participant communications and engagement with Ducks development model.
• Assist with program operations: equipment, registrations, ice slots.
• Support marketing efforts for female programs with Ducks and The Rinks teams.
• Represent as a female hockey ambassador at events.

This position will focus on cultivating the growth of girl’s hockey via grassroots initiatives, community programming, and Anaheim Ducks fan engagement programs.ResponsibilitiesLead the on-ice instruction of all-girls hockey programming under the Anaheim Ducks We Play Her Way umbrella including but not limited to Learn Her Way and Play Her WayLead and facilitate on-ice instruction for The Rinks and Anaheim Ducks girls focused programming including Girls Try Hockey For Free and Women’s Try Hockey For Free eventsDevelop coaching plans for programs and communicate plans with the program coachesAssist and lead customer communications during and following programs, introducing participants to the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Development modelAssist with Anaheim Ducks women’s focused programs and initiatives including Anaheim Ducks Women in Sports NightServe as liaison between the Lady Ducks travel club, The Rinks & Great Park Ice, and the Anaheim DucksAssist the Marketing Manager, Hockey Development with program operations including equipment inventory, tracking registration, and securing ice slots for programmingAssist with marketing efforts for female programming including working with The Rinks and Anaheim Ducks marketing team to produce marketing materials and strategiesGrow and develop the girl’s hockey programs hosted by The Rinks & Great Park Ice and the Anaheim DucksServe as a female hockey ambassador for the Anaheim Ducks and The Rinks & Great Park Ice, attending special events as neededSkillsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3+ years of coaching or program experience in girl’s or women’s hockeyMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in sports and entertainment marketing or related field preferredExperience playing hockey is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of hockey, specifically the National Hockey LeagueWorking knowledge of basic PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) and design applications such as Adobe PhotoshopCandidate must be creative, self-motivated, and organized – strong customer service approachPassionate and knowledgeable about hockey and sports in generalAble to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays requiredAble to work with diverse populations, including adults and children of all agesAble to ice skate and inline skate at an expert levelKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEducation - Bachelor's DegreeExperience Required - 3+ YearsThis position is on-site.MR2026
