Champaign Unit 4 Schools seeks a Girls Diving Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This differential position requires IHSA-coaching certification or Illinois Professional Educator License and the ability to coach and develop student-athletes.

Responsibilities include representing the school as a positive role model, effective communication with students and staff, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel with the team to various venues.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work nights, holidays, evenings and weekends
• Willing to travel with the team to different locations for practices/games, as needed

Compensation

• This is a Differential position. The differential pay scale can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers, which is available on our website. Coaches with 5+ years of experience are compensated at a higher rate than those with more limited experience. Employment as a coach is on an at-will basis.

• The season for this sport typically runs from mid-Augustthrough November. The exact dates are determined based on IHSA rules and the schedule for State events. More detailed questions regarding the schedule can be directed to the Athletic Director at the school.
