A local educational institution in Champaign is seeking a Track Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. The ideal candidate must possess the appropriate coaching certification or Illinois Professional Educator License and have a strong knowledge of the sport. This position requires the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with students and adults. Applicants should be willing to work flexible hours and travel with the team as needed. Compensation
This is a Differential position. The differential pay scale can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers, which is available on our website. Coaches with 5+ years of experience are compensated at a higher rate than those with more limited experience. Employment as a coach is on an at‑will basis.
