Mt. Spokane High School is seeking a C-Team Girls Basketball Head Coach for Fall 2026-27. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and the development of student-athletes within a well-rounded education. You will design practices from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., supervise players, and promote sportsmanship and school values.

The position requires First Aid/CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and prior secondary coaching experience. Competitive salary is provided under district guidelines.

Competenze

• Must be 21 or older for Head Coach.
• Must have current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Type II Driver’s License is preferred.
• Understand the sport, safety practices, rules and progression.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward students and motivate them toward a successful program.
• Plan practices and events and meet schedule responsibilities.
• Work with students, colleagues, parents, and officials professionally.
• Previous coaching experience at the secondary level.

Mansioni

• Instruct athletes regarding techniques, rules and safety.
• Develop and organize a practice program; practices 3:00–6:00 pm.
• Supervise athletes from practice start to end and at events.
• Promote interscholastic program and align with school activities.
• Model ethical conduct and respect for officials.
• Foster sportsmanship and school/community pride.
• Ensure documentation such as medical forms and insurance are complete.
• Communicate with parents regarding rules and guidelines.
• Coordinate with athletic director and building administration.
