Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a dynamic bartender to provide exceptional service while entertaining guests with themed performances and choreography.

Responsibilities include serving cocktails, maintaining bar cleanliness, handling transactions, and assisting new staff. Ability to dance choreographed routines and travel for publicity is noted. English communication required.

Qualifications

• Audition and testing as required.

• High volume hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed.

• Prepare, order and serve cocktails to customers following hotel guidelines
• Garnish drinks as appropriate
• Ensure the correct glassware/stemware is used according to Beverage Department standards
• Handle monetary transactions (cash, credit cards and room charges) in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Pick up dirty glasses from assigned station ensuring optimal maintenance of station, keeping clear of beverage debris
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and/or workstation to ensure compliance with beverage and health department standards
• Polish all necessary glassware
• Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels
• Work station must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift
• Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
• Ensure correct health and sanitation practices are followed
• Check ID's if the guest appears to be under 30
• Follow Alcohol Awareness techniques as needed
• Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns
• Assist new employees with training and answering questions
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
