Gilead invites a seasoned Chef to lead the kitchen at one of our residential facilities in New Britain. The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, full-time with benefits. You will oversee menu planning, budgeting, ordering, and ensure safe, recovery-oriented dining for clients.
Requirements include a High School Diploma, ServSafe certificate, and 5 years of cooking experience. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required. Salary ranges from $51,500 to $62,500 per year.

The Chef typically works Sunday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Full Time/Benefited Eligible position). The Chef isresponsible for the preparation of all food provided, including general kitchen and dining hall oversight, budgeting and ordering, preparation and directing food preparation.
This position is a key leader in establishing a holistic, recovery-oriented, safe dining experience clients to begin to heal from drug use and co-occurring mental health challenges.
This is a non-union position, the targeted salary range is $51,500 – $62,500 annually.
