Job summary

Sacopee Valley Schools – MSAD 55 in Hiram, Maine, seeks a dynamic Full-Time Gifted and Talented Teacher for SVMS (grades 4-8). The ideal candidate will support gifted learners with targeted instruction and work with teachers on differentiation and RTI.

You'll design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction, build positive relationships with students, and collaborate with colleagues to foster student success. EOE.

Qualifications

• Prior successful experience as a gifted and talented educator.
• Experience partnering with teachers on universal instruction, differentiation, and RTI.
• Ability to design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction.
• Strong relationships with students and ability to support student success.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with strong organizational skills.
• Eligible for Maine Teacher of Gifted and Talented Students (690).

Responsibilities

• Provide GT education at SVMS (grades 4-8).
