Sacopee Valley Schools – MSAD 55 in Hiram, Maine, seeks a dynamic Full-Time Gifted and Talented Teacher for SVMS (grades 4-8). The ideal candidate will support gifted learners with targeted instruction and work with teachers on differentiation and RTI.

You'll design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction, build positive relationships with students, and collaborate with colleagues to foster student success. EOE.

Sacopee Valley Schools – MSAD 55

Sacopee Valley Schools are nestled on one campus between the Saco and Ossipee River in the town of Hiram, Maine. Students from the surrounding towns of Baldwin, Cornish, Parsonsfield, and Porter attend Sacopee Valley. Sacopee Valley is conveniently located 30 minutes from North Conway, NH and 45 minutes from Portland. Recreational water activities at numerous local ponds and lakes are only minutes away. Winter fun, like skiing at King Pine or Pleasant Mountain, is an easy drive. There are also lots of opportunities for other recreational activities including hiking, camping, fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or antiquing. MSAD 55 is seeking a dynamic full-time educator to support gifted and talented students primarily at Sacopee Valley Middle School. SVMS is a grades 4-8 learning community with approximately 375 students.

• Have experience building positive relationships with students and supporting student success

• Have or be eligible for Maine Teacher of Gifted and Talented Students (690)
