Bourbon County School District District Wide in Paris, KY is seeking a Gifted and Talented Teacher to coordinate the gifted program for K-12 and oversee identification and services.

You will train classroom teachers, complete KDE and local forms, and report to the Director of Gifted Education. The role requires a Gifted Teaching Certificate or grandfathered status and a 185-day term.

REPORTS TO: Director of Gifted Education

SUPERVISES: Not Applicable

JOB GOALS: Coordinates the gifted program: proper identification, delivery of services to gifted students, completion of KDE and local forms and training for classroom teachers.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assure proper identification of students in grades K-12 by individual schools.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
