Job summary

Osseo Area Schools - District 279 Edinbrook Elementary in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is seeking a Teacher - Talent Development, Academic Challenge and Gifted Support Specialist (TAG) for a long-term substitute position. The role runs October 12, 2026 through December 23, 2026, with a 1.0 FTE temporary assignment.

The teacher will develop and sustain rigorous DEE instruction, collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver ELA and Math challenges, support individual scholar goals, and engage with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in appropriate field or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to apply for Tier 1 or 2 license if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain implementation of differentiated, extended, and enriched (DEE) instruction and opportunities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure scholars engage in challenging learning and develop individual goals.
• Monitor fidelity of DEE implementation and communicate with staff, administrators, scholars, guardians/caregivers and partners.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required

MN teaching license in appropriate field

Willing to obtain Tier 1 or 2 license
