Job summary

Station Casinos is seeking a Retail Leadership professional responsible for merchandise reception, inventory control, and sales generation. You will generate purchase orders, process invoices, and manage Gift Shop merchandise to maintain an inviting guest experience.

Responsibilities include training team members on register procedures, stocking, merchandising, and store policies, plus coaching to ensure policy adherence. Flexibility in scheduling is required to complete all duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in retail leadership is preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to complete job functions.
• Effective communication with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• Excellent oral communication, strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior.
• Ability to read and evaluate basic reports and correspondence.

• Maintain team member work history documentation per Company Policy.
• Coach and issue discipline to ensure policy adherence.

Job description

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos’ “We Win Hearts” Company-wide culture. Accurately receive all merchandise and inventory control. Generate all purchase orders and process invoices. Order approved merchandise for Gift Shop. Oversee placement of merchandise on the floor and maintain a neat, clean and inviting atmosphere for Guests. Identify new ways to drive sales generation to achieve goals. Communicate merchandise sales to Director of Hotel Operations. Responsible for training all Team Members on register procedures, stocking practices, merchandising placement, and store policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and appropriate Team Member work history documentation within the Company Policy. Coach and issue discipline when necessary to ensure adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year work experience in Retail leadership position preferred. Must be able to work flexible schedule to ensure job functions and responsibilities are complete. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management. Excellent oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior to effectively handle all issues. Ability to read and evaluate basic reports, correspondence and use basic mathematical skills. Ability to handle multiple task assignments and prioritize accordingly.
