Job summary

MCR Hotels’ TWA Hotel in New York seeks a Gift Shop Attendant to deliver a positive guest experience through friendly, attentive service.

You will greet guests, assist with merchandise, handle payments, restock and maintain an inviting shop environment while collaborating with the hotel team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise.
• Display merchandise in a neat, eye-catching manner.
• Restock items, check expiration dates and discard expired items.
• Process payments, returns and exchanges; verify IDs as required.
• Maintain a clean, secure and organized storeroom/shop.
• Open/close procedures and monitor shop to prevent losses.
• Provide courteous service and work well with hotel staff.
